A cycle count checks that the numbers in Nautilus match what's actually on the shelves. Instead of shutting down for a full physical inventory, you verify a slice of the warehouse at a time. Start one from Cycle Counts → New Count and choose the sections to include.
How counting works
Walk to a location and scan its barcode. Nautilus shows the quantity it expects, you enter what you actually find, and it either confirms the match or flags the difference. Move to the next location and repeat. You can pause and pick up where you left off whenever the floor gets busy.
When you finish, the Reconciliation screen lists every discrepancy in one place. Accept the physical count to update your records, or flag an item for a second look before adjusting. Either way, the change is logged with your name and the time.
