Nautilus has eight scan actions, one for each thing you do to stock:
- Pick: removes product from a location for an order.
- Putaway: places product into a location.
- Receive: logs new stock as it arrives.
- Relocate: moves product between locations.
- Count: verifies a quantity during a cycle count.
- Adjust: corrects a quantity by hand, with a reason code.
- Ship: marks an order as sent.
- Return: processes incoming product back into stock.
Set the action before you start scanning, or let Nautilus read the context and choose for you. Inside a cycle count session, for example, every scan registers as a count without your switching modes.
