Picking pulls stock for an order, and packing readies it to ship. Both run off the scanner in Nautilus, so quantities stay accurate the moment product leaves the shelf.
Picking an order
Open the order, set your scan action to Pick, and work the list. Nautilus points you to each item's location, you scan the product and confirm the quantity, and stock comes off that location right away. If a spot is short, flag it and Nautilus suggests the next location holding the same SKU.
Packing and handoff
Once everything is picked, mark the order packed. If you use a shipping integration like ShipStation, the packed order becomes a shipment and a tracking number flows back into Nautilus and your sales channel. The full pick-to-ship history stays attached to the order for later reference.
