SpatialIntelligence:YourWarehouseasaLivingMap

Nautilus now builds a real-time 3D model of your warehouse. See how spatial mapping transforms putaway, picking, and congestion management.

Your warehouse is a physical space with unique geometry — wide aisles, narrow aisles, dead ends, high-traffic intersections, loading dock bottlenecks. Until now, most WMS software treated it as a flat database of locations. Today that changes.

Building the map

Nautilus Spatial Intelligence builds a real-time model of your warehouse from scan data. Every time a worker scans at a location, the system refines its understanding of the physical layout — aisle widths, shelf heights, walking distances between sections. After about two weeks of normal operations, the model is accurate to within 0.5 meters.

Smarter putaway

With spatial awareness, putaway suggestions factor in physical proximity, not just logical location codes. If a product is frequently picked alongside another product, the system suggests placing them in adjacent locations to minimize future pick travel time.

Congestion avoidance

The spatial model tracks real-time activity density. If three pickers are already working in aisle C4, the system will route the fourth picker through C5 even if C4 has the next item on their list. The extra 10-second detour avoids a 2-minute traffic jam.

Spatial Intelligence is available on Pro and Enterprise plans. The model builds automatically from your team's normal scan activity — no additional hardware or manual mapping required.
